Cody Ransier

Lead Trainer

An avid fitness enthusiast and long-time personal trainer, Cody has made his mark on the Renton Community for over the past 17 years.  His innovative style and passion have inspired many individuals to lead healthy and fit lifestyles and has provided him opportunities to train all fitness levels and athletes. 
 
Cody may have retired from the Marine Corp, but is extremely involved by donating his time and resources to support non-profits and our veteran community.
 
He recently became a police officer and enjoys martial arts in his free time. He’s also an experienced mountain climber who has summited Mt. Rainier and all the other volcanoes in Washington State, at least once.

Monica was a dental hygienist and educator for over 10 years, but retired when she became a mom. Now she has 2 kids and is a local business owner.

 

On her free time, she plays tennis with her husband, tries to keep up with her kids, and loves to eat and try new places.  

She ruptured her achilles during a tennis tournament in December 2023 and surgery was required. She's working hard to get back on the courts and in the gym as a member and trainer!

Bryan Le

Trainer/Operations

Bryan is an entrepreneur with over 10 years of business management experience ranging from hospitality to real estate and construction management. He currently owns and operates several businesses throughout the Greater Seattle Area.

 

He is responsible for managing the day to day operations at APT to ensure top tier services for our members.

Outside of the office, Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, playing tennis, as well as perfecting his cocktail-making craft.

- NASM Personal Training Certification
- Pain-free Performance Specialist Certification (PPSC)

- CPR/AED certified

Paddy Gleason is a professional athlete fitness coach and sports performance specialist. While working closely with various professional athletes, he is dedicated to helping all athletes optimize their performance while preventing injuries.

 

“I have grown up playing sports and intend to play for as long as possible. My coaching searches for balance with the goal of longevity for the athlete. We want to do what we love, for the rest of our lives.”

 

Paddy is the lead morning coach. You can find him coaching our group classes and semi-private sessions.

 

When he isn’t coaching, Paddy enjoys spending time with his wife and son, running his company Off The Leash, and playing paintball.

Steve Birt

Trainer

Steve is originally from Santa Cruz, CA and have been living in the PNW for the past 6+ years. Growing up, he played many sports, but found himself drawn to hockey at an early age. He played competitive ice hockey for 15 years from youth travel programs to college before eventually getting involved in CrossFit back in 2013.

Throughout his time in the fitness industry, he has worked with countless individuals from all walks of life to help them gain confidence, get strong and get healthy through strength training. He is looking forward to getting to know and working with everybody at APT.

In his spare time, he obviously enjoys working out, spending time with his kids, watching and attending sporting events with family, and enjoy traveling to Arizona and Florida to visit family.

Theo is a seasoned Strength & Conditioning Coach since 2013. Over the years, he has guided countless individuals to smash their fitness goals, finding his true passion in the diverse journeys of people from all walks of life.

His philosophy: It's all about consistency, balance, and commitment. He advocate for a habits-based approach, whether you're a gym newbie or a seasoned athlete. No shortcuts, just steady progress. Continuously honing his skills, he prioritize ongoing education to better serve you on your fitness journey.

Beyond the gym, Theo enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, family dinners, mob movies, and if you asked, he probably won’t turn down a game of chess either.

Lawrence Collado

Trainer

Born and raised in Renton, Lawrence grew up playing multiple sports, with baseball as his first passion before shifting his focus to powerlifting. A high school injury sparked his interest in rehab and movement, leading him into a career helping people recover and move better since 2013.

 

In 2020, Lawrence expanded into personal training to combine his rehab background with strength and conditioning. He specializes in helping clients build strength, improve movement quality, and prevent injuries by blending corrective exercise with practical, functional training. He is a Certified ISSA Personal Trainer with a specialization in Corrective Exercise.

 

Outside the gym, Lawrence enjoys going to baseball games, golfing, and DJing—or simply spending time at home with his wife, daughter, and pets.

El’s core belief is that health is true wealth. He believes that every person is an athlete and built to move, and movement is the key to strength, resilience, and longevity. Whether you’re an athlete or just looking to build mental and physical strength and confidence, his goal is to help you unlock your full potential through disciplined, intentional training.

With a background in competitive basketball and football, El’s pursuit of growth led him to boxing, training alongside amateur and professional fighters and coaches. He developed a deep understanding of the sport and specializes in boxing training in addition to strength & conditioning. At Seattle Boxing Gym, he has worked with local amateur and pro fighters, helping them build strength, power, endurance, and athleticism.

Outside of the gym, El loves to eat a lot of good food, sit back and listen to music, anything basketball and boxing related, and he also cherishes the simple things in life. He’s just a chill guy!
